Sharp entry points and a raking bow and stern maximise the waterline for efficient glide and quick acceleration, while the slightly rounded hull reduces wetted surface area for less drag. The marginally less-than-moderate rocker and hard chines give the Bara nimble, confident edging and solid secondary stability without sacrificing the smooth edge-to-edge transitions that make this hull satisfying to paddle in dynamic conditions. The deck sits low enough to stay out of the way of a high-angle stroke, and the flat rear deck handles self and assisted rescues cleanly.

A-Core fibreglass construction brings sandwich deck reinforcement, a heavily protected keel, and robust aramid seam taping inside and out, making the Bara a practical choice for paddlers who put real mileage on their boats across varied Canadian coastlines and waterways. The contour backband, multi-adjustable thigh braces, and footpegs set up solid contact points for rolling and bracing, and the nut-and-bolt backband adjustment lets you dial in fit precisely over a few sessions on the water.
